Mini Josie's Colorful Afternoon

Hola!
Es mini Josie!
(Hi! It's mini Josie!)

After I helped the big people with moving all their big big boxes, we went and shopped for groceries.

First I decided to stay in the car and wait...
But the sun had gotten the car very hot and it was miserable in there without those wind-blowing machines!
So I decided to come along.
But I said I wasn't hungry for anything but doughnuts, which I did not find any, so I didn't get anything.

When we got back in the car I looked out the window - it was so colorful! Like the wonderful woven fabrics we make at home! I was really enjoying my colorful car ride!

And it felt much better now with the cooling wind blowing on my back!

We drove for what seemed like forever..!

At least the view was pretty!

No, sun, go away!

Later we went to a street market with hats, bracelets and all sort of things!
I thought for sure I got a photo of it, but apparently not! Photo found!
I'm sorry for blocking the view!
I didn't get anything to wear...
But I did get one thing from there. At last...
I found a doughnut!

It was almost as big as me! (I had already had a bite... or a few)
Oh, you're wondering what the thingies next to the doughnut are? My cutlery! I had promised Samantha not to get my camisa dirty - she says I'm such a troublemaker and that my fondness of chocolate doesn't help! Well, so I decided to take her advice and try to eat ladylike.

The doughnut was also very colorful!
YUM!

I'll write more soon!

Mini Josie And Mary Poppins' AG Bag

Hello!
It's Josie.

After helping out with the boxes, I found this gigantic paper bag that seemed just made for me and my doll companions...
Even if you might think so, this didn't mean that Sweden has an AG store...
I even checked inside to see if I would find any AG goodies - you know, to make sure the store wasn't hiding somewhere in there.
But, nope, it was just an empty grocery bag! Pretty sad. At least there could've been some yummy food in there...
I'm lucky I made my way out alive, though, cause that thing was huge! I almost thought it was Mary Poppins' bag in disguise!

I got out of the paper bag and looked out the window - wow, was it hot!
But I couldn't stay inside forever, I had to go out to...
You'll see that soon!

- Love, the every so sneaky

Mini Josie And The Great Big Boxes

Hi, everyone!
It's me, Josie. I'm a great helper when it comes to moving! Well, maybe I'm not that much help... But I'm good at climbing! See for yourself...

To see what else I did that day, stay tuned for my next post!

Much love,

Mini Josie And The Thunder Storm

Maroon: Mini Josie
Dark Purple: Mini Lissie

Hi,
My name is Josie - though bigger people tend to call me "mini Josie", which I'm fine with.
I've been all around the United States of America! The last place I visited was San Fransisco in California, where I got a stuffed panda friend. My friend would have been very nice to have with me now, but sadly had to be left at home...
After I got packed up and sent away to my next destination, it was just black for days. I could tell I was moving, and then suddenly I fell..!
The movement stopped and now I'm here, in my box. It's all dark, but it might just be inside my box.
I'll try to poke a hole in the cardboard with my pen....
Oh, I see some stars! They're giving me some light, that's great!
Boom!
What was that? Please don't say it's thunder! I don't like thunder!
Help, help! I'm scared! Help!

Wait, what is that? Someone's opening the box! I hope it's not the thunder monster!

"Uhm... Hej."

I must have ended up in Sweden after all! Now what do I do? Thank her? I'm relieved she was not a monster, but I don't know how to say "thank you" in Swedish! The only word I know is...
"Hallå!"

The girl quickly jumped down from the box and ran away through the high grass.

Until the lighting struck and she got scared and fell to the ground.

"Wait!", I said, I thought it was worth a chance to try to see if she spoke English.

The girl seemed to have understood and turned around to face me.

"You speak English?"

"Yes", I said, as another lightning struck somewhere near us.

The girl climbed on top of the box again and helped me out of it.
"I'm so sorry!", she said. "I don't know much Swedish and was shy to talk to you so I ran away."

"It's okay." I said. "I only know one word!"
"Ha... hallå?"

"Yes." I said and giggled.
The girl giggled too. She then told me her name was Lissie, just like a girl I know! They even have the same hair color - crazy, isn't it?!

As we stood there chatting we saw some lights not too far off.

We decied that we'd get my box tomorrow and walked off towards the lights.
"Do you know what get means? You say it like "jet"."
"No, what is it?"
"A goat!"
"Get - that's almost like the airplane I went on - a jet!"
"Haha!"

-

As you might have noticed, I had to put down my journal when I was trying to get Lissie's attention, so I wrote down the rest later.

I'll write more soon, I promise!

The Ship Anchors

Hej!

Felicity: Green
Rebecca: Red
Kirsten: Blue
Kirsten LE (Limited Edition): Yellow
Emily: Orange

You might remember how in our last post, we said that was our last adventure...
Well, we won't actually go on any more adventures, as a crew.
But that doesn't mean that we're going to stop being pirates! That's something Felicity has thought all of us - adventure is always there as long as you're up for it!
Oh, and have a sword with you!
And most importantly, some good mates!

Felicity doesn't know this, but we're writing this post as a thank you to her.
She has brought us along on so many daring and wonderful adventures, plus saved us from a couple of scary beasts!
We want to tell her that no matter where we are, who we're with or what we're doing, we'll always be pirates at heart. And a pirate never forgets their captain - and that's you, Felicity Merriman!

So here's a post recapping all of our fantastic adventures, to once again let us smile over those new favorite memories of ours...

The day I arrived, and for the first time in my life got to taste the Merriman specialty - fluffy puffy bread! It's yumier than it looks!

Then, after going on my first adventure with Felicity, having Swedish pancakes and watching "Little House On The Prairie".

The day when I and Kirsten arrived is something I'll always remember!
It was so cozy to cuddle up in our boxes and chat as the wind went crazy outside!

The  day when I arrived was... particularly odd. But who said odd can't mean loads of fun, too?!

And who can forget the day that we met St. Lucia and her friends?!

Going to Copenhagen was very cool!
But the coolest thing ever was sliding down this big octopus slide!

Visiting Hans Christian Andesen's grave was a bit scary, but still awesome!

I still miss my pigeon friend... But I know that he's going on new adventures, just like I'm about to do!

Cuddling up on the train was so nice after a long day of roaming the city. Don't you agree, Felicity?
Humph...

And who can forget the day that we visited Ale's Stones?!
It was truly magical, sitting on the old stones and watching the lovely sunset.

Then ya'll could read more about my crazy tree climbing adventures with Felicity!
And how I befriended yet another ginormous beast cat!

And who can forget the marvelous pink palace?
I don't know about you guys, but I loved it!
I loved listening to the radio with Emily!
And dancing!
Yeah, I had never done tap before!
Though it was a little bit hard without any tap shoes... Or any shoes at all for that matter.
But still very fun!

Lübeck is my new favorite city ever! Well, except from Ryd of course!
So beautiful!

DONKEYS!
I loved the bridge full of padlocks!

*sniff* What are ya doing on the beeply-doo machine, mates? I just wanted to tell you that... *sniff* I'll miss y'all so much!
Are you crying, Felicity?
No, there's salt water in my eyes!
Aren't tears salt water..?
Ok, I may be crying... slightly. Just remember mates, be brave!
We will!

Now the time has come for us to finish off this adventure and for the last time say...
Hejdå,
Rebecca, Emily, Kirsten & Kirsten!
We will miss you, Felicity!
